ASUS' Transformer Book V comes in 5 modes

The Taiwanese tech firm displayed their hybrid device which combines a laptop, mobile phone and a tablet. 


The Taiwanese-American multinational company has a wide range of products from Motherboards to GPUs and tablets under it's belt. The fifth-largest PC vendor has followed it's slogan of "Inspiring Innovation. Persistent Perfection" when it revealed the Transformer Book V. The device which comes in 5 modes which provide uncompromised and relishing experience. It's an all purpose device for communication, productivity and entertainment. 



The company's aim to diversify the platform of hybrid devices has proven helpful as the device can interchange between 5 modes of which are as a laptop and detachable tablet running both on Android and Windows operating systems, and as an Android Phone. The five-inch phone docks into the tablet and promises speeds up to four times faster than 3G. As a laptop, one "hardware button" switches between the two operating systems.


 According to ASUS' representatives, "It's more about convenience rather than performance".
