How To Create a Self Extracting Archive! (AKA Setup) Using WinRAR!

Alright, so today after I met a few people who actually had problems with this, I decided to write down this quick tutorial to help everyone in making Self Extracting Archives! (Some call them Setups.)

STEP 0
Firstly, you'll want to go ahead, download and install WinRAR Archiver, its a free (for 30 days) piece of software you can use to create compressed archives.

STEP 1
Once you have that, you'll need all the files you want to compress in to the self extracting .exe file. I recommend putting all of them into a folder for easiness. You can see an example in this image.

STEP 2
Next up, you want to exit out of the folder and right click it, select 'add to archive'. You wont have this option if you haven't installed WinRAR.

STEP 3
Now, type in the archive name (anything), and make sure to 'check' that 'SFX' box under the archiving options.

STEP 4
You're done! Check you created extractor!
In our test, we compressed a 30 MB file, into a 8 MB one!
