Why EA Won't Go Down As One Of "The Worst Company"

Being pronounced as the worst game maker in January 2014 but still has a reputation to live up to.

Founded by Trip Hawkins on May 28,1982 EA was third-largest gaming firm after Nintendo and Activision Blizzard. Even after releasing more than 23 successful gaming series including the
  • NFS series,
  • Battlefield series,
  • Crysis series,
  • Mass Effect series,
  • FIFA series
  • Command and Conquer series.
EA's fantasy world was interrupted or rather disturbed by minor and major glitches.

Though glitches and errors worsen the disastrous games, but still EA's games are worth buying. Even after throwing on the company's name we all including myself try out their latest games because we know that they can bring us something good.

Titanfall, the latest edition to their game group has rather become a flagship now a days
Throughout it's fast growth, EA was often criticized for a number times which were declared as an 'act of jealousy' and 'hostile acts'. Once they were alleged of being share holders of their competitive rivals 'Ubisoft' for being 19.99% of their share holders.

Since 2005, EA has received "Universal Acclaim" (Metacritic score of 90 or greater) in eight of their games, which include Battlefield 2, Crysis, Mass Effect 2, Rock Band, Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age: Origins and FIFA 14,12 and 13.

EA has been severely punished for their poor marketing performance. They have also been disparaged for their below average titles. Even on the portable platforms such an iOS and Android, EA has/had a good reputation. However, IAPs are changing that.

People say that poor reviews and lack of performance are starting to corrode EA's brand and it always looks like they are thunderstruck by a hoard of allegation, criticism and lack of effort whenever they release a game.

Inspite of all this EA won't go down as one of the worst because Hawkins had named the company "Electronic Artists" or "Electronic Arts" for nothing.
