With the release of some of the 'better' games on the next generation, and more and more exclusive coming closer to their release dates. We get some idea how the next gen games may look like. It is one of the best times to actually compare a ~6 year old Open World Title, with the latest videos games such as Thief.
When GTA IV is modded and rendered at 4K it easily beats any video game made, but thats when we're talking about still pictures, which can take hours for rendering, that is obviously intolerable if we want to play. Although you'd need a powerful PC to be able to run this, it just goes to show, what PC modding community is capable of.
Lets wait for GTA V, but I hope that it comes before the PS5 is released.
